“When the student is ready the teacher will appear.” - Buddhist
It reflects the idea that wisdom and guidance come when we are truly open and prepared to receive them. *
For Lea, this became true four years ago when she met her teacher, Sudhir Tiwari — a connection that has shaped her understanding of Yoga ever since. She is one of the few teachers in Europe certified by him in the lineage of the Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute, and currently the only one teaching classical Pranayama in this lineage in Berlin.
A Hatha Yoga teacher and practitioner, Lea also holds certification in the Jivamukti Yoga method. Over the past eight years she has taught in the Netherlands, India, and Germany, blending traditional knowledge with an accessible, heartfelt and modern teaching style.
In 2023, 2024 and 2026 Sudhirji conducted workshops on Pranayama in Berlin hosted by Lea Asja.
In September 2024 Lea joined the Chardham Yatra with Sudhir ji and a group of students.
She teaches regular classes in Berlin, one-on-one private sessions and workshops in Germany and Europe.
IN SEPTEMBER 2025 LEA WILL CONTINUE HER STUDY UNDER SHRI SUDHIR TIWAR JI. ATTENDING THE SECOND AND THIRD YEAR (2025-2027) TEACHER TRAINING IN PRANAYAMA, CLASSICAL YOGA AND AYURVEDA.

*A similar concept appears in the Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu, where the emphasis is on alignment with the natural flow of life. The phrase also resonates with the Zen Buddhist idea of satori (sudden enlightenment), where readiness and presence are key to learning.
